Blend 2 handfuls of nuts (my preference is cashews and macadamia) with a handful of pitted dates (you can choose to sweeten with honey or any other sweetener), 1/3 cup of chia seeds with your favorite type of milk (almond/rice/soy, etc.) or water in a powerful blender or food processor. Blend until you achieve a smooth texture, and then add 1/2 cup of Aljana® Tahini, 1/2 cup of Aljana Macadamia Cream, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. You can add cocoa powder to the mix if you prefer a chocolate flavor.
Blend again until you achieve the perfect creamy texture. Fill the mousse into glass jars and chill in the refrigerator. Serve it as a delicious dessert. You can also pour the mousse into ice cream molds and place them in the freezer. Your kids will love these healthy ice cream treats.
